The Warrior Run Defenders basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Muncy Indians to 41 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Defenders now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Warrior Run will meet a team coming off a 50-48 non-league loss to Childress (Childress, TX). The record now stands at 33-138.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Meadowbrook Christian (Milton, PA). The enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Meadowbrook Christian ran past Columbia County Christian (Bloomsburg, PA), 28-9, in a league contest.
