The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans edged the host Pomfret School Griffins ice hockey squad by a tally of 4-3 in Wednesday's league bout.

With the victory, Loomis Chaffee School betters its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT) to confront the Saints in a bout on Saturday, December 9. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Canterbury School won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA)

The Griffins now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pingree for a battle on Saturday, December 9. Pomfret School will play a Highlanders team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-4.
