In Wednesday's league challenge, the Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA) ice hockey team nudged the host Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA), by a margin of 5-4.

The Big Blue now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brewster Academy National for a challenge on Friday, December 8. Phillips Academy will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Holderness (Plymouth, NH). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Winchendon (Winchendon, MA). The Wapiti enter the challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Winchendon was edged by St. Mark's (Southborough, MA), 3-1, in a league battle.
