Washington Bulldogs (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carver Panthers (Atlanta, GA), 63-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to play the Hornets in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Carver will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 50-44 non-league loss to South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA).
