The San Tan Charter Roadrunners basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Gilbert Christian Knights to 51 in the Roadrunners non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Roadrunners now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Sunrise for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers enter the contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Benjamin Franklin was nudged by Miami (Miami, AZ), 67-52, in a non-league contest.
