The Mitchell Mustangs trounced the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights basketball team by a score of 70-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Countryside for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Mitchell will battle a Cougars team coming off a 35-32 league loss to Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
The Royal Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Seahawks come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Sunlake was routed by Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL), 65-61, in a league battle.
