Florida High School Basketball - St. John Paul II Academy can't hold off Westminster Academy

The Westminster Academy Lions basketball team scored 43 points and held the host St. John Paul II Academy Eagles to 39 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Westminster Academy will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Cypress Bay (Weston, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-2.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian Academy nudged Sagemont (Weston, FL), 73-59, in a league contest.
