Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Apollo will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ).
The Jaguars now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Copper Canyon for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. Canyon View will confront a Aztecs team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 3-2.
