In Friday's non-league contest, the host Thomson Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 69-60 triumph over the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Drew Charter (Atlanta, GA). The go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Drew Charter topped Southwest Atlanta Christian (Atlanta, GA), 45-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Musketeers battle the Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Academy of Richmond County will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Razorbacks go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 66-45 league win over Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA).
