In Friday's non-league contest, the host Benton Tigers basketball team scored a good 59-49 triumph over the Anacoco Indians.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn-Shreveport was topped by Benton (Benton, LA), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) in a B District 4 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Anacoco will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA).
