Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC), 1-0 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bell upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Griffins travel to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC) to face the Trainers in a DCIAA match on Monday, December 9. The Trainers enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Red Giants now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richard Wright Public Charter School for a Freelance match on Tuesday, December 10.
