The Cumberland Valley Eagles basketball squad (Mechanicsburg, PA), was nudged 60-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Berks Catholic Saints (Reading, PA)

With the victory, Berks Catholic advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Saints travel to Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) to encounter the in a non-league test on Saturday, December 7. The come into the test with a record of 2-0. Pope John Paul II won 68-63 in their recent non-league test against Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA)

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Governor Mifflin held off Cocalico (Denver, PA), 68-50, in a non-league test.
