Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), 69-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Montwood advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Rams travel to Levelland (Levelland, TX) to face the Lobos in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 5-4. Levelland lost 83-46 in their recent non-league match against Crowley (Crowley, TX)

The Longhorns now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amarillo for a 5A Region I District 3 match on Tuesday, December 10. Caprock will face a Sandies squad coming off a 52-27 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Sandies record now stands at 14-5.
