In Friday's non-league test, the Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO) basketball squad got by the host Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL), by a score of 57-51.

Next, the Cadets encounter the Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) in a Metro Catholic test, on Tuesday, December 10. Christian Brothers will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Cyclones (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters come into the Central State Eight test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln held off Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL), 59-56, in a non-league test.
