Texas High School Basketball - Crowley holds off Monterey

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Crowley Eagles basketball team scored a close 71-64 triumph over the Monterey Plainsmen.
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Frenship nipped El Dorado (El Paso, TX), 81-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Plainsmen confront the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Monterey will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 73-38 non-league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
