California High School Basketball - Mt. Shasta can't hold off Gridley

December 6, 2024: Mt. Shasta, CA 96067

Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), 58-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Gridley upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Durham (Durham, CA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 3-0. Durham won 50-42 in their recent non-league match against Corning (Corning, CA)

The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enterprise for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Mt. Shasta will face a Hornets squad coming off a 57-40 non-league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-1.
