The Harlan Cyclones basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Shenandoah Mustangs to 62 in the Cyclones league triumph on Friday.

The Cyclones now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Kuemper for a Hawkeye Ten game on Tuesday, December 10. Harlan will confront a Knights team coming off a 73-31 league win over Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Shenandoah falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Red Oak (Red Oak, IA) to confront the Tigers in a Hawkeye Ten game on Tuesday, December 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-2. Red Oak lost 76-48 in their recent league game against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
