Texas High School Basketball - Seguin crushes John Paul II

The Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) basketball crushed the visiting John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), 71-43 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Matadors now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sam Houston for a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, December 10. Seguin will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 64-58 non-league loss to Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, John Paul II falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to Highlands (San Antonio, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Highlands lost 73-52 in their recent non-league bout against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX)
