Nebraska High School Basketball - Johnson County Central holds off Mead

The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Mead Raiders to 64 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tri County for a C2 District 1 match on Saturday, December 7. Johnson County Central will face a Trojans squad coming off a 64-43 non-league loss to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
