Georgia High School Basketball - Long County bests Johnson

December 6, 2024: Ludowici, GA 31316

The Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) basketball toppled the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), 55-47 in Friday's league bout.

The Blue Tide now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tattnall County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Long County will play a Warriors team coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Johnson falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Atomsmashers travel to Columbia (Decatur, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Columbia lost 65-48 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)
