Texas High School Basketball - Johnson succumbs to Pieper

In Friday's non-league test, the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), by a final score of 53-42.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 test, on Tuesday, December 10. Pieper will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 78-50 non-league loss to Jay (San Antonio, TX).

The Jaguars (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Dripping Springs went down by Georgetown (Georgetown, TX), 68-62, in a non-league test.
