Texas High School Basketball - KIPP University Prep toppled by Vanguard Christian

Vanguard Christian Knights (Boerne, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host KIPP University Prep (San Antonio, TX), 54-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Vanguard Christian advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Knights host Utopia (Utopia, TX) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Buffaloes enter the match with a record of 8-0. Utopia won 45-32 in their recent non-league match against D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX)

The now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host KIPP Somos Collegiate for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. KIPP University Prep will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 59-18 league loss to Somerset Academy Collegiate (San Antonio, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
