In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mansfield Tigers basketball team scored a good 55-41 triumph over the Pinkston Vikings.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Birdville topped Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 61-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Carter Cowboys (Dallas, TX) in a 4A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Pinkston will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Cowboys go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 60-51 non-league loss to Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX).
