The Northside Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Mather Rangers to 53 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Carver for a Chicago Public - Red South game on Tuesday, December 10. Northside will confront a Challengers team coming off a 100-33 league loss to Dyett (Chicago, IL). The Challengers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Mather falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Roosevelt (Chicago, IL) to confront the Rough Riders in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Rough Riders go into the game with a record of 0-1. Roosevelt lost 54-29 in their recent non-league game against Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL)
