In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Sparrows Point Pointers basketball team scored a good 59-41 triumph over the National Academy Foundation Eagles.
The Pointers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Reisterstown, MD). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Franklin topped Patapsco (Baltimore, MD), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lewis Falcons (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. National Academy Foundation will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 86-49 non-league loss to Northeast (Pasadena, MD).
