The New Knoxville Rangers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers to 52 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fairlawn for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. New Knoxville will play a Jets team coming off a 51-37 non-league win over Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Jets record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Waynesfield-Goshen falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH) to play the Golden Gophers in a Northwest Central game on Saturday, December 7. The Golden Gophers go into the game with a record of 1-1. Ridgemont won 65-60 in their recent non-league game against Allen East (Harrod, OH)
