Indiana High School Basketball - Pike Central trounced by Princeton

December 6, 2024: Petersburg, IN 47567

Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 79-28 in a league match.

With the victory, Princeton advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Tigers host Tell City (Tell City, IN) to face the Marksmen in a Pocket match on Saturday, December 7. The Marksmen enter the match with a record of 0-1. Tell City lost 48-37 in their recent non-league match against Perry Central (Leopold, IN)

The Chargers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Park for a Pocket match on Saturday, December 7. Pike Central will face a Rangers squad coming off a 64-36 non-league win over Crawford County (Marengo, IN). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.
