In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders basketball team scored a good 76-62 triumph over the Waterloo East Trojans.
The Roughriders (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Kennedy topped Solon (Solon, IA), 42-16, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Waterloo East will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Wahawks go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 61-50 non-league win over Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA).
