The Owls (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Groom (Groom, TX). The Tigers come into the 1A Region I District 2 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Groom was routed by Boys Ranch (Boys Ranch, TX), 45-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Amarillo Collegiate Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
