The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) and the host Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX), observed Braswell's basketball team knock off Timber Creek by a score of 50-42.
The Bengals (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Lake Dallas prevailed over Seguin (Arlington, TX), 39-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Timber Creek will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Bobcat come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 37-32 non-league loss to Granbury (Granbury, TX).
