In Friday's non-league contest, the host Minden Crimson Tide basketball team scored a good 35-18 triumph over the Byrd Yellow Jackets.
The Crimson Tide (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Airline topped Carroll (Monroe, LA), 55-37, in a non-league contest.

Byrd will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 42-29 non-league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, LA).
