In Friday's league contest, the visiting Homestead Spartans basketball team scored a good 66-48 triumph over the Carroll Chargers.

The Spartans (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Academy topped Central Catholic (Toledo, OH), 56-23, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Carroll will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 66-41 non-league win over East Noble (Kendallville, IN).
