The Pinckney Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels to 20 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mott for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Pinckney will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 46-33 non-league loss to Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Michigan Independent - Red game on Monday, December 9. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-2. Parkway Christian lost 54-28 in their recent league game against Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI)
