Nebraska High School Basketball - McCook victorious over Chase County

In Friday's non-league contest, the host McCook Bison basketball team scored a good 48-34 triumph over the Chase County Longhorns.

The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Valentine (Valentine, NE). The go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Valentine was topped by O'Neill (O'Neill, NE), 69-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a C1 District 11 contest, on Saturday, December 7. Chase County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Haymakers enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 47-25 non-league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, NE).
