Kansas High School Basketball - Hodgeman County routs Deerfield

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hodgeman County Longhorns basketball team scored a big 45-11 win over the Deerfield Spartans.

The Longhorns (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Valley (Almena, KS). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Northern Valley trounced Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS), 67-16, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Ingalls Bulldogs (Ingalls, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Deerfield will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 62-33 non-league win over Moscow (Moscow, KS).
