New Mexico High School Basketball - Douglas County nips St. Michael's

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Douglas County Huskies basketball team scored a close 50-44 win over the St. Michael's Horsemen.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mullen (Denver, CO). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Mullen edged St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 58-13, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Horsemen battle the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. St. Michael's will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 58-31 non-league win over Colorado Academy (Denver, CO).
