In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hudsonville Eagles basketball team scored a good 57-44 triumph over the East Grand Rapids Pioneers.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI). The Rockets go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Reeths-Puffer was toppled by Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI), 64-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pioneers confront the Zeeland West Dux (Zeeland, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. East Grand Rapids will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Dux go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 44-26 non-league win over West Ottawa (Holland, MI).
