The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) and the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), observed General McLane's basketball team overwhelm Hickory by a margin of 65-31.

The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Neshannock trounced Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA), 50-10, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Hickory will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Sailors come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 50-19 non-league win over Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA).
