In Friday's league contest, the visiting Harlan Cyclones basketball team scored a close 66-62 win over the Shenandoah Mustangs.

The Cyclones (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights come into the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Kuemper edged Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA), 65-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Shenandoah will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 57-28 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA).
