Georgia High School Basketball - Jefferson County nudges Southwest

December 6, 2024: Louisville, GA 30434

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) and the visiting Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), observed Jefferson County's basketball team edge Southwest by a score of 44-43.

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Jenkins County was tipped by Claxton (Claxton, GA), 41-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 60-41 non-league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
