In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons basketball team scored a good 45-35 win over the Sumner Cowboys.
The Falcons (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Fontainebleau dropped by Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 65-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys battle the GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Sumner will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 44-36 non-league win over Baker (Baker, LA).
