The Taft Toreadors basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Van Nuys Wolves to 35 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Toreadors now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Crenshaw for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Taft will confront a Cougars team coming off a 60-37 non-league loss to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
