The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the host Standley Lake Gators to 1 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a 5A League 1 bout on Saturday, December 7. Mountain Vista will play a Wolverines team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Standley Lake moves to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gators host Kent Denver (Englewood, CO) to battle the Sun Devils in a non-league contest on Monday, December 9. The Sun Devils come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Kent Denver won 8-2 in their recent non-league contest against Mullen (Denver, CO)
