The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host North Iredell Raiders to 22 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to McDowell for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Alexander Central will confront a Titans team coming off a 63-61 non-league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, North Iredell falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Bears go into the game with a record of 0-5. Bunker Hill lost 39-34 in their recent non-league game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC)
