Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) fans went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA), 49-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lunenburg Central was routed by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 47-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA) in a challenge, on Monday, December 9. Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
