In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wilkes Central Eagles basketball team scored a good 60-49 triumph over the Bandys Trojans.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Bandys will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 63-61 non-league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC).
