The Rowland Hall Winged Lions basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns to 44 in the Winged Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Winged Lions now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Summit for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Battle Mountain falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-0. American Prep WV won 60-31 in their recent non-league game against Tintic (Eureka, UT)
