The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), observed De La Salle's basketball team edge Leo by a margin of 44-37.

The Meteors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis was tipped by Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL), 52-21, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Leo will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 46-27 league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
