In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Strasburg Indians basketball team scored a big 58-14 triumph over the Merino Rams.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Miners go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Prospect Ridge Academy smashed Stargate School (Thornton, CO), 67-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Merino will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
