The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Moapa Valley Pirates to 42 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to American Prep WV for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Spring Creek will play a Eagles team coming off a 60-31 non-league win over Tintic (Eureka, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Moapa Valley falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Carson (Carson City, NV) to play the Senators in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Senators go into the game with a record of 1-0. Carson won 64-10 in their recent non-league game against Sparks (Sparks, NV)
